  1. Erd\u00e4pfelkn\u00f6del:<\/strong> Erd\u00e4pfelkn\u00f6del z\u00e4hlen zu den beliebtesten Beilagen.<\/li>\n
  2. Rotkraut:<\/strong> Neben den Erd\u00e4pfelkn\u00f6del wird auch Rotkraut gerne zu einem herzhaften Gansl gegegessen.<\/li>\n
  3. Gr\u00fcne Bohnen mit Mandeln:<\/strong> Frische gr\u00fcne Bohnen, leicht ged\u00fcnstet und mit ger\u00f6steten Mandeln bestreut, bieten eine k\u00f6stliche Erg\u00e4nzung zum Gansl.<\/li>\n

    Warum isst man am und um den Martinstag Gansl?<\/h2>\n

    Neben den traditionellen Laternenumz\u00fcgen an St. Martin hat ein weiterer Brauch Einzug in zahlreiche Familien gefunden: das traditionelle Martiniganslessen.<\/p>\n

    Laut der Legende soll sich der barmherzige Heilige aus lauter Bescheidenheit in einem G\u00e4nsestall versteckt haben, als er nach seiner Heldentat zum Bischof geweiht werden sollte. Das laute G\u00e4nseschnattern verriet ihn jedoch und so wurde St. Martin zum Schutzpatron der G\u00e4nsezucht.<\/p>\n
